Children and youth

If your child or teen is struggling with speech, language, literacy, or social communication and falling behind their peers, the time to act is now. Early intervention is key to positive outcomes.

WHAT WE OFFER

Pediatric speech therapy

At Granville Island Speech, we offer pediatric speech therapy for toddlers, infants, preschoolers, school-age children, and teenagers in a warm, caring, and enjoyable environment.

Our preschool and toddler speech therapy includes play-based therapy for children who are non-verbal. Our pediatric speech-language pathologists (SLPs) are also Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP) certified, and eligible patients can use their BC autism funding (including the Autism Funding Program) to access our services.

A child engages in play-based speech therapy. She holds her finger to her mouth saying "Shh" to a model horse in front of her.
